Tuesday

"Didn't wake up until lights were on this morning, and found out that I had locked both keys to my padlock in my locker.  Boy was I in a mess.  After a hard try we got the bottom shelf out by taking out some bolts, and then worked till I could reach up and get my billfold.  It was sure some stretch and I scratched my arm all up, but finally made it.  While I was putting the bottom on the M.A.A. came along and he sure raised hell.  I just missed being put on report by the kindness of his heart.
Got a letter from Sweet today and I sure was glad to get it.
It sure was cold today.  Took a shower and shaved this evening.  I feel wonderful.  Maybe I should do it more often.  My frame of mind sure has changed.  I'm sort of happy again.  Wrote to Mom and Sweet tonight.  Jay, Stone and I went to the U.S.O. show at 8:30.  Was late getting to bed again.  Ha ha."
