"Worked all day again. Used turpentine all afternoon on the deck, and all the skin is coming off my hands. Got a hair cut this morning too.
Took a shower and shaved after work, and went to the show with Jay and Stone at 6:00. Went over to night school, but didn't stay. I sure dread to start in again, I'm just sick of school I guess. All I need is a good swift kick to straighten me out. Washed a few clothes before hitting the sack. At least I got two letters from Sweet today at least, but one letter is missing. I sure hope I get it tomorrow. Her letters sure mean a lot. They say they are coming to see me when I am in my next school. I wish they would wake up to the fact that there probably won't be any more school. I wrote to Sweet tonight. I love her with all my heart."
