Friday

"Got my mail at last.  2 from mom and 4 from sweet.
Betty told my how her mother and father like me.  I guess there is nothing to keep us from getting married except the war.  It will be over some day too I hope.
I sure love her.  Her letters mean more to me than anyone will know.
I feel a little better and stronger today.  Betty found the ring I gave her.  She is pretty happy I guess.
"You haven't been late for all our dates.  I wouldn't care if you are late for all our dates.  Just knowing you would be there is just like heaven."
Oh sweet I love you.  I would love to give you that long goaly kiss and a big hug right now.  I could take that all night too, I bet you."

Dad seems to be recovering now.  He does not make perfect sense, but you get the idea.
