"Studied all day today.
Went to New London a reserved Mom and Betty's room in the Mohegan Hotel. Went to the Y.M.C.A. Played pool and ping pong. Wrote to Sweet. I didn't get a letter from Sweet. It's because she is coming, I guess. I 'll see her soon though.
We ate before we came back to the base. Come back in a taxi. Hit the sack at 11:00."
