"The snow is really deep this morning.
We had 50 cal. machine gun practice This morning. It was really something. The hardest part is finding the target with the tracers. We were firing at aircraft. They sure move fast. It's going to be hard being a good gunner. We got paid today and I went to the post office and got a $40.00 money order.
After chow Gaudelte and I wrote letters. I got a letter from Mom and Sweet and answered them. I mailed them. Washed clothes till 10:45. Hit the sack."
