"Mandanca and I went to New London.
We first saw Mother and Betty walking down the street carrying their suitcases. It was sure wonderful to see them again. Betty sure looks sweet.
He and I went to the Y.M.C.A. and played pool while they got settled.
We all went to supper and then went back and talked.
We came back to the base early, because they were tired. They sure have a nice room.
We ate before coming back. Met Jay and took a taxi.
I kissed Sweet goodnight. It was the first time in a long time. I'm still dizzy. She sure is wonderful. I love her so dang much. I won't forget that kiss.
