"I was late for school this morning, and had to report at 6:30 this evening. But the chief just said not to be late again and shoved off.
I wrote to Mom and Betty. I got letter from Sweet today and another picture. It's good but blurred. I wonder what the one tomorrow will look like. Washed some clothes tonight. No hot water, darn it."
