Tuesday
Got up at 8:00 & got ready to go over to school.
Arrived at school in time to eat lunch with Betty the 4th period. Sat & talked to Paul Nieman during 7th. I walked between classes with Stinky, and waited till 9th to bring Betty home. I saw Shorty and a lot of the teachers. Talked to Shorty a long time, he told me how swell Betty was, &am how much he liked her. He gave a little advise and stuff. For he was in the last war. He is a swell guy.
Took Betty home & stopped at the Drug Store again.
Came home and went to Betty's at 1900. We tried to get the car and go ice skating, but Dad didn't get home soon enough. So we made fudge and just stayed home. Betty thought she was catching cold when I left. Got in at 0200.
