"Took the diving tank test today, Two 12, Two 18, Two 50. I passed OK. The water was real warm, but we had to walk on ice barefoot to get to the elevator. It sure is queer feel that water creep up to your chin, in such a little space, and such great pressure in a little lock is that. The munsan lung was is easy to breath with. It's all some experience.
I got my pea coat back tonight, it sure is nice, just like new.
Wrote to mom and Betty this evening and then went to the show. With Jay and Stan and saw, "The Lodger." It wasn't to good, but it wasn't too bad. Got to bed about 10:30."
I have trouble, at times, making out some of Dad's words, especially with terms I am not familiar with. The word 'Two' in the first line bothers me and spell check does not like munsan lung.
When my dad talked about walking on ice to get to the elevator, I am reminded that it is winter. The diving tank must had been outside.
