January 11, 1944

Tuesday

"I woke up this morning with a cold in the head.
A bunch of us went and had our physical this morning.  I passed everything on top.  The doctor wanted to know where I was from, and said that my teeth was in good shape.  He was glad to see a set of clean teeth again.
This afternoon we took a bunch of written tests, and a psychology interview.
The Lt. could not assign me to the pressure chamber till I got over this cold.  He sent me to sick bay and I have to go back tomorrow.
Went to small stores and got 3 more craws, and sewed one on my undress jumper.
Wrote a letter to sweet and read and then hit the sack."

I am not sure of the word 'craws.'
